Due to the accelerated growth in the Spanish-speaking population, it is necessary for companies to target more than just English-speaking audiences if they want to capitalize on all the largest markets. Not only that, many state and governmental agencies are now mandated to serve Spanish speaking populations. To help you reach this quickly growing market, we are proud to offer very high quality Spanish translations for all of your video and film projects.
We routinely produce Spanish translations of our videos and have been frequently complimented on their quality. We recognize that you do not want your project to turn into something resembling a bad Kung Fu movie when translated, so we take extra steps to insure the highest possible quality.
We believe that the scriptwriting process is the most important step in producing a quality project, and this especially applies to translations. First, we work with native-born, professional writers and proofreaders to create and check our translations, and to offer suggestions as to how to make it more natural, current and conversational sounding. Since Spanish typically contains about 20% more verbiage than it's English equivalent, our translators work hard with an eye towards accuracy, clarity and brevity. We always work with a translator and proofreader team to insure accuracy.
Second, we work with a group of hand-picked native speaking Hispanic actors to voice the roles. As always, we take a lot of care in casting to make sure that the voice suits your project.
Since Spanish translation typically requires about 20% more words than English, we edit with an eye towards making the audible words fit the mouthing as much as possible. This takes time, but the improvement is substantial. Though we cannot link the picture and voice seamlessly--after all, the picture is still mouthing English while we are hearing the Spanish--the extra care we take in editing makes a large difference, showing a clear differentiation between our translations and those of most other production companies which do not allocate this additional editing time. This is true even of companies that do nothing but Spanish translations—we believe ours are clearly better. We invite you to please compare one of our Spanish translations to our competitors before making your final selection, and we think you'll agree.
We have produced Spanish translation work for companies such as International Safety Instruments, which sells much of their fire-fighting equipment to South America, and organizations such as the Administrative Office of the Courts in the productions of, I Present My Case , Guardians of Adults and Taking Responsibility for Your Child's Assets. We would be very happy to share our Spanish translation work with you.
